Emad Mirmotahari is associate professor of English at Duquesne University. He is author of Islam in the Eastern African Novel. His work has appeared in Callaloo, PMLA, Modern Fiction Studies, Studies in the Novel, and Postcolonial Studies, among others. Originally from Iran, Mirmotahari lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
